Hi, I’m Sue Becker, founder and owner of From Piles to Smiles® professional organizing service. My passion is helping residential and business clients develop organizational systems so they can grow and thrive in the life they were meant to live. I do this by helping people create customized systems to conquer the disorganized paperwork, clutter, and poor time management that holds them back. I’ve helped thousands of people around the world create substantial change by organizing and simplifying their lives. I am also a frequent speaker to corporations, hospitals, and organizations across the country.
I have created The APPLES Resource Guide – a resource manual of forms and checklists – that provides tools and guidance to organize your home and office, simplify your life, and let you feel in control instead of overwhelmed. I am a co-author of the book Conversations on Success along with 10 other experts who share tips, expertise, and valuable lessons that have helped us succeed in life. I have written articles for, and been featured in, numerous local and national newspapers and magazines, including Real Simple Magazine and The Chicago Tribune. I have appeared on the national TV show Starting Over as an expert on time management and space organizing, and have also appeared on an NBC TV news segment offering practical advice for women who need help getting organized. I am quoted as an organizing expert in the book How to Position Yourself as the Obvious Expert.
I specialize in helping people who are chronically disorganized – those for whom disorganization has been a lifelong struggle that negatively impacts every aspect of their life. I am Illinois’ first Certified Professional Organizer in Chronic Disorganization and an ADD Specialist.
As a full-time working professional and parent, I know the positive impact of an organized home and business. I received a B.S. degree in accounting from the University of Illinois and an MBA in finance and marketing from Northwestern University’s J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management. I am a member of the National Association of Professional Organizers, and the former Vice President of the Chicago chapter. I am the former treasurer of the National Study Group on Chronic Disorganization, and the first person in Illinois to earn the title of Certified Professional Organizer – Chronic Disorganization (CPO-CD®). I am also an ADD Specialist. I serve my community by volunteering with local organizations including DuPage County Senior Services Money Management Program, St. Joseph Finance Committee, PADS, and others.
I’d love to connect with you:
